FootPRINT Fund Winners for 2009

 1.  Sugar Creek Art Center:
Purpose - To bring enrichment throughout art & culture to the people of rural central Indiana & to serve as a catalyst to sustain the economic viability of this rural community.

  2.  Keep Indianapolis Beautiful:
Purpose - Unites people to beautify the city, improve the environment and foster pride in the community.

  3.  The Caring Place:
Purpose - Working with at risk children & teens in the inner city of Indianapolis.

  4.  Indiana Association for Community Economic Development (IACED):
Purpose - Statewide membership association, whose members are dedicated to improving lives through community economic development, works to strengthen both the industry and local organizations through capacity building, advocating for effective public police, forming beneficial partnerships among members and delivering quality professional development services.

 5.  Domestic Violence Network:
Purpose - To coordinate & strengthen community resources & services that prevent intervenes, respond and support the ending of domestic abuse in Central Indiana.

 6.  Footlite Musicals, Inc.: 
Purpose - To produce musical and to provide education and training of persons interested in theatre through practical experience and programs in the various phases of musical theatre.

 7.  Cancer-Free Lungs (formerly Lung for Life):
Purpose -  Raise awareness about lung cancer and educate kids ages 11-18 about hazards of tobacco use & smoking.

 8.  The Hutson School:
Purpose - Educate children with language based learning differences such as dyslexia.

 9.  Indiana Hands & Voices:
Purpose - We are a family support organization for families of children with hearing loss. We provide advocacy, resources and mentoring to Indiana Families.
